Milan Mes (1981) is a trumpet player, voice artist and a dynamic scientist. For the past 18 years he has enjoyed trumpet lessons from various private teachers such as David Rockefeller (New Cool Collective) and Nico Geraerts. In addition, he has gained a lot of experience in well-known groups such as the live hiphop formation Relax. In 2009 Milan won the prize for Best Musician at the Grand Prix in the category singer / songwriter. Milan gradually began to focus more and more on the art of the voice. Through self-study and experiment, he has put together a completely unique electronic set-up in 2 years time with which he can produce a quirky and original sound with his voice. In his musical expressions, Milan Mes searches for the tension between electronic and acoustic sounds. He plays in Project Wildeman, Supercity and The Benelux, among others.
