We are very happy to announce our reprisal of The Longest Night with the choir of Cappella Amsterdam. Cappella Amsterdam is known for its structured and precise classical music performances. On the other hand, Project Wildeman is know for its out of the box thinking and performing. A perfect combination to experience something totally new. Between Thursday, the 12th of December ‘19 and Friday January Third 2o20 we will tour the Netherlands.
The Longest Night
The Longest Night is a theatrical concert playing throughout all of the Netherlands in empty churches. Cappella Amsterdam and Project Wildeman have created a new ritual inspired by the winter solstice, full of song and dance. By combining old traditions and classical church music with deep techno and state of the art technology. we have created a new ritual. This new ritual strives to erase the darkness of these last few months of the year.
Campain
The campaign was designed by Mick Johan and Maartje van Nimwegen. They have used the old technique of embroidery to connect with the old days, however using modern day imagery. Mick is know for his work for the Dutch band De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig.
